Amanda Santello is a product design leader equally driven by big-picture strategy and the fine details that bring it to life.

Expertise

With 15 years of experience, I’ve led multi-disciplinary teams across industries, shaping design strategy, driving innovation, and delivering meaningful experiences for both consumer and enterprise products. I thrive at the intersection of vision and execution—crafting forward-thinking strategies while diving deep into the intricacies that define great design.

Currently, I’m the Experience Design Director at Designit, leading a team of 25+ multidisciplinary designers and partnering with clients such as LAX and PGIM.

DESIGN LEADERSHIP

With over a decade spent in product design, my experience with spending time in the details builds credibility with those I lead and mentor, while balancing the needs of the business and other disciplines along the way.

PRODUCT STRATEGY

I drive product strategy by creating space for collaborative decision-making—where design, product, and engineering all have a voice, and the best ideas rise through shared ownership and clarity of purpose.

VISION & STRATEGY

Good vision for any user experience should blend a strong, long term product vision with near term user needs to ensure that every perspective is heard and accounted for in the final product.

DESIGN SYSTEMS & OPERATIONS

Whether leading the vision for a 15+ person or working in the details with a small team, reimagining a new journey or tweaking a single component, I like figuring out the process that brings ideas and people together.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

My blend of graphic design and technical backgrounds give me a unique perspective on how to achieve a creative direction that appeals to the audience while being usable and flexible.

MENTORSHIP

As a leader and mentor for the past 8 years, I’ve learned that one style does not fit all. One thing that most people do value is empathy. I lead with as much understanding as I can to be a trusted source of support.

Let’s work together

Built to scale, designed with care—let’s make it happen.
